Paint Code

does anyone know where to find the paint code for my truck? i looked inside the door panel, it say ext pnt:yz, but i havent found any paint with that code. im trying to paint my tailgate handle to match the truck. PLEASE HELP!!!

the paint code is yz i found out the same thing b.c mine is yz to.

ok. now where on the spray paint would it tell me the code? i have found dupli-color that says oxford white, but im not sure if thats right.???????

ya i dont know on spray paint. i found my code and ordered ppg paint. Most likely if it says oxyford white then it mite match.

Oxford White is your color. 97-03 had that as their white.
Be careful rattlecanning it. I did some work when I first got mine where there was a rusty scratch on the roof (fortunately it was there)...After remiving rust and priming, I painted with Duplicolor's Ford Silver Clearcoat Metallic (my paint color). It turned out to be a bad bad match. Very far from factory. But white has no flake, so it may be better...
