Cleaning under wheelwells/frame

How do you all clean underneath and the frame/wheelhousings? Anyone actually sponge down under there, to get the grime off? Was thinking of getting a long-handled brush, kinda like a wheel brush, to get up in there.

With the body looking nice and shiny, I hate having the frame and wheelhousings looking crappy.

Spray the wheel wells with the same stuff you spray on your tires after you wash the truck. They'll be nice and black after.

Do you just spray or do you to wipe?

After Im done washing my truck, I use a different mit to wash my fenderwells and wheels. After that I'll wipe on my tire dressing and just spray some tire dressing on them, the only problem is if you live or drive down dirt roads it can make things messy thats why I stopped doing it.

I wash with a soft wheel bruch the spray with the tire dressing. I then wipe the dressing so it is not running. looks good and cleans up easily the next time.

I do a good amount of offroading and that area always looks dirty. But when its clean up time, the best thing I have come up with is to wash the area the best you can, then use something like Armor-All Foam Tire Shine and Cleaner. The stuff is amazing. You just spray it on and then wipe it down and it brings back a brand new look. You go through a lot of the can doing the all 4 wells and the frame rails, but it looks amazing.

I used a combination of an yard sprinkler left on until the water dripping was clean and some Castrol Super Cleaner sprayed on the tough spots.

Worked great.

i dont like super clean too much becuase on certain metals it will cause it to discolor, its very bad on aluminum and will cause white rust,so i dont let that stuff get close to my wheels at all.

My process is jack up truck & block the frame, remove wheels and tires, spray super clean under all wheel wells, frame, and rearends.

Take pressure washer with heat on and spray everything under the truck until clean.

Wash the inner side of my wheels and tires while the frame is drying.

Wash rest of truck and air dry.

Spray the wheel wells, frame, rearends, and back sides of tires with hyper dressing.

Reinstall wheels and tires and spray front side of tires with hyper dressing.

I spray wash the wheel wells and rear frame area everytime I wash the truck and about every 3rd time I take the wash mitt (after every other surface has been washed) and wash the wheel liners - they stay very clean that way. Part of it I'm sure it that here in SoCal we don't get much wet weather (mud, snow, salt) so it stays pretty clean anyways.
