NXT ****pit...

I was in Wal Mart yesterday and saw a bottle of Meguiars NXT ****pit (I think Protector). They didn't have Tech Protect and was thinking, maybe it's the same stuff just in a different label. Anyone ever seen this stuff? I don't see it on Meguiars.com.

By the way it's 50 and sunny, time to go work on that oxford white!

- Chris

lol it erases the name, think of where pilots sit on an airplane.

LOL!

[ockpit shine

Anyway, C-Pit Shine is Tech Protectant. Meguiar's was looking to focus in, more specifically, on the target market with the name.

This product can still be used for exterior items.

You don't see it on meguiars.com because their site is very difficult to surf and not updated nearly as frequently as it should be.

is the same as...

Good luck on the white! Post some pictures once you get it completed!!

Thanks RP, I kinda figured they were the same due to the labeling being exact with the exception of the products title.

I was very pleased with my results when it came to my truck today. I'll have to take some pictures tomorrow because it's already dark but it shines up really nice. I'll post some pictures when I get home from work tomorrow afternoon.

Glad to hear it worked out for you Chris.

Just FYI, tech protectant is now called [ockpit shine. No more TP...

Wow... I just had a flashback to Bevis and Butthead there... CORNHOLIO!

I bought the NXT Protectant for vinyl, plastic, rubber and use it primarily on the interior of my truck. What is the difference between what I'm using and the c-pit shine and interior protectant???

Same product. No difference.

All they did was change the name a bit to focus in on their target use market.

I read this post and ran downstairs last night to my arsenal of cleaning products to see what I bought at Walmart.

Thanks Rockpick! BTW where is LaGrange located in KY? My parents live in Northern KY.

Lagrange is about 20 minutes northeast of Louisville. Where in Northern KY?

Ahh... right off of I75... I know that area.

We've done quite a bit of work for the State Transportation Cabinet in that area.

I can do you one better than that! I sell Meguiars. You can imagine how great it was to find out about the NXT line here, instead of receiving literature (some product would've been nice too) directly from them. To make matters worse, I call those clowns asking what the story is and some info sent to me, and get: "Uh, duuuh, we don't have any literature to mail out ". OK, how about faxing me a line list and price sheet? "Duuuuuhhh, we don't have that either" OKKKK, is it on your website? "Duuuuhhh, . . . .no" WTF kind of company is this?! You have a new product line on the shelf-everywhere in the country except my store apparently- but no information on it?? I have been selling their stuff since '88, makes me feel like a chump when customers have more product knowledge than the dealers do.

Rant over. Still pissed though

Picked up a bottle of the Tech Protect and it works awesome. I like how it's not so glossy and flashy as Armor All. Nothing worse then getting blinded by your dash board because of how shiny it can get after a coating of Armor All.
