Back on task and subject here...
I'm almost to two years with the Silblade and, I can definitely tell that they are changing in performance.
No, I'm not bitching about it. Two years is HUGE but, I am becoming more and more disappointed with them as time progresses. I'm noting more smears and smudging rather than rain removal. Further, one of the blades (driver's side) has a spot on it that doesn't remove the water. Almost like something is stuck on the blade and causes that half-moon line to stay in one very tiny bead all the way from top to bottom on the wipe.
I'm going to call Silblade tomorrow to begin inquiring about the warranty promise. My only worry is that I don't think I have the information on them from when I originally bought them (I think it was inadvertently left in my old KR).
We'll see how this goes and I'll be sure to post back with information. I'd sure like to have a new set of wipers out of this but, if I have to buy more, I will. They ARE WORTH IT.

Did you try rubbing them down with ArmorAll cleaner (not the protectent), or is it rubber wear? (I said "rubber wear")

Trust me there....
I had about the same amount of time on mine, too. I was starting to notice some degredation in performance as well, but the main issue i had was the rusty frames. What did I do? I went out and got another set, just the same. They are that good.
I am curious if anyone has used tried the new "Beam Blades" from Trico..."Innovision"...as the frames on the SilBlades ice up just like all the other non-winter blades.
Trico Innovison linky
