I put on and buffed off 3 coats of Zaino on Sunday, all in about 2 1/2 hours...

Your products are good as well and you got an awesome shine, so we are both ******...

I put on and buffed off 3 coats of Zaino on my dad's 02 expedition today, in about 3 hours (i like to have a few water breaks here and there) and before that, had to wash it, which was about 1/2 hr. Tomorrow I've got to dawn wash, clay, and put 3 coats of zaino on my dads new E-250 extended (what a beast that thing is!!). And to finish off the week, I'm going to put 3 coats on my truck on Friday.

And what a pain in the butt (well actually calf) it was today polishing, because I worked out yesterday for the first time in about 6 months, and my freakin calfs burn so much its hard for me to walk and stand up. That'll teach me to work out more often

Off to sleep, i've got a long day tomorrow zainoing the e-250 for the first time!

I just ordered some black silblade 22" wipers. I am so excited. Rain is a good thing, and we could use the water.

I know this is a Silblade thread, but I am curious since I have a new S-Crew.

1 - Why wash it with Dawn?
2 - What is clay? Why use it? Where do you buy it?

Dawn will strip all of the wax off of your vehicle and thus provide you with a 'fresh' start persey. With alot of synthetic polishes, they recommend that you do this such that you can have the synthetic bond directly with the top clearcoat/paint.

Clay is a material commonly used in the detailing world to remove stuck on contamination on your paint. It's available at just about any AutoZone or similar type of place and is VERY easy to use and INCREDIBLY effective in removing the aformentioned stuck on stuff.

Do a search for 'clay' and you'll find NUMEROUS threads.

If that's the case, I'll soon have more $$$ in inquiries here than I have in the S-Crew itself!!

For example, I want a power slider. Have no clue how to install, run wiring, disconnect my rear defrost, etc. Might have to take out a small loan to pay you guys for that one!!

The power slider is cake. I've got numerous threads that I can point you towards on doing that one...

Cake if you are familar with or baked before. I've never modded anything. Closest thing to wiring I've ever done was plugging my DSL cable into my computer!!
