I have a Access hard folding cover on my '07 that was put on right after I bought it and haven't had any seriouse problems wih it. Just minor tightening of parts due to wear and tear. It folds up easy when I wan it out I the way and it's only two screws to remove it if I want it off. I believe there's a couple o decent pics of it in my albums. If you want others let me know and I'll try to snap you some more pics.

My previous truck had the Extang Solid Fold. I loved it. You could stand, sit, lay, and put just about anything you wanted on top of it just fine. The only issues were with the weather stripping closest to the cab (It started coming off after a year) and to get full access to the bed, you had to fully remove the cover. The last panel takes up about 2 feet of bed space.
I currently have the BakFlip FiberMax and love it as well. Much lighter and it looks sleek. You can gain full access to the bed by folding the cover up against the cab without removing it. It sits almost flush with the bed sides. The only cons for me are that you can't close the tailgate with the back of the cover down and you can't put your weight on it.
If I were to pick between the two, I would say the FiberMax. It looks nicer and does its job. But I do miss the weight bearing functionality of the Solid Fold. It comes in handy more than you would think.
