I don't have any pics, I didn't buy one. I saw some in parking lots in the mall, (I went looking for them), and they all fit the same, and were un-inpressive fits. Made my decision easy. They look good in the pics on their website, but in person.... not so great.

Skier, any chance you could provide a front view, focusing on the front corner? That is my deal breaking area of concern. Not to mention the 3 that I have seen have had uneven gaps along the sides, where they were almost 3/4 of an inch from the box in some areas, and 3/8 away in others. Almost as if the truck box sides were slightly rounded from front to back, and the cap was perfectly straight.... if you know what I mean.

On a side note, I saw 2 '10 f150's today with Leer 700's on them, and although the front corner fit good, they both seemed to sit high, and showed about 1/2 inch of the bed rail cap for the entire length of the box. That wasn't a pretty fit either.

That F150 looks sexy! I wish they made the SE for my year truck.

Canadian, you looking for a clean look like Snugfit?

I don't know what I'm looking for. I just know I have not yet found it. I know what I don't want though. I don't want to see any part of the black bed rail cap when the lid is closed. From any angle. I also don't want a perfectly flat cover. I want some character and flow. I like the design of the undercover, and the way it looks from 50 feet away.

Maybe it's too much to ask of the tonneau manufacturers to make something that both looks great, and actually fit perfectly.

Of the snugtop covers, I prefer the f2, but I can`t find a front corner, lid closed view. I would rather see one mounted on a F150 and have a good look at it in person.

canadianelbow ..... The Undercover changes size a little from winter night to summer day, it's extremely easy to take on and off, it's hugely lighter than a Leer F-glass cover (probably weighs a third as much .... or less), and it's tough. If it was made to fit to your high standards on a hot summer day, it'ld be too damn small in the winter and likely be much harder for the "average" folk to put on and take off with the wife helping on the other side. Because it isn't built to your "high standards", many more "average" folk like me will find it something they can use .... or remove .... at will.

The gap is the same, just the angle is a little different

Ya see in that second pic, where you can just catch a glimpse of the black rail cover poking in..... from an angle just ahead of that camera angle, you start to see alot of that black rail. That's part of the poor fit I was talking about.

I see what you are saying. I wonder if it has to be that way in order for it to function properly without hitting the cab? Wonder if the standard SE is built like this as well?
Overall I think it looks pretty dang good and the fact that you can remove it easily, is a huge bonus for a guy like me.

Are these the only pictures out there? Looking for all undercover products photos. I'm leaning towards the SE...

I went out and looked at it, the bed rails line up with the edges of the cover. I didn't have a chance to look at the fit before I purchased, and if I did, I still would have purchased it. That little part is only noticable if you are looking forward of the rail and know what you're looking for, especially on a white truck. It serves its purpose and is much more pratical for someone like me that doesn't have an extra hand around when needing to utlitize the bed of the truck. To me, the strength, and weight were the biggest selling points.

It fits perfectly even around the bed rails, and snug over the gate. Though its not a tight tight fit along the sides like the snugtop I had before on my lightning, or the ARE my father has on his GMC, its appropriate for the truck and doesn't knick up the bed rail like the others do, and I didn't have to remove the tailgate rail moulding like my father did. If I were to remove the undercover, no one would know I ever had a top on it.

Be sure to see photos on Underocover's website. Here's a few more pics I have.

The regular SE fits exactly the same. They definitely have their good points, with weight (or lack of) being the biggest. If I could get my hands on one to play with, (before it got painted), I'd love to try to modify it to fit better.

Skier, with it being mounted on your truck, can you please post a pic from more of a slightly more in front of it view, (if you know what I mean) to show the members the amount of black rail shows? Also, could you open it, and snap a pic to see how much clearance there would be if a guy extended the corner to hide the part that bothers me the most? I'm wondering if the hinge system would allow for the extended point on the corner any clearance.

I am also looking to purchase the Undercover Smooth SE since I want to have it painted to match the truck, but I'm concerned about some of the comments of the fit for the Smooth SE. I have a 2011 Limited with the Platinum White and if part of the front edge of the black rail caps was showing, it would drive me crazy. I wanted a lightweight cover to remove and hang in the garage as needed. The fiberglass options are much heavier and aren't practical to remove occassionally. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

@TruckGasm

I did but it only has a few f-150's in there. I'm sure that the cover doesnt look the same nor fit the same as it does on the other brand trucks. Thanks though.

Just looking for some SE and SE Smooth photos.. Prefer my year truck just to see the fit and finish of it.

I have noticed the gap between the rail and cover is pretty far for the newer f-150's is this the same gap distance for 04-08? Again good pics would be awseome!
