I had trouble with water getting into the box so i raised it up on 2 herculiner coated 4x4's(the water is in the bed cause i just washed it) Theres 4 bolts going all the way through the setup and its pretty snug. Im so glad to have this finished it was alot of rough/frustrating afternoons getting this done.

Nice. That's the way I want to go...low profile box mounted up off the floor so I could still sneak a couple sheets of plywood in the bed if I had to. Which UWS box is that and where did you get it if you don't mind me asking.
I bought the box from Texas Auto Trim, they had it in the shop because someone ordered it but didnt pick it up. I dont reccomend doing buisness through them though because they are just a middle man and you basically pay them to send your truck to a place that specializes in bedliner tint etc. I got my liner done there and they said there was only one type and one color. Then the liner place didnt drill holes in the bed to drain so I took it by there. I saw all the different trucks with color matched and the thinner type of liner which is really what I wanted. Moral of the story: TAT sucks. they also drilled about 5 holes in the box when they mounted it to the bed and they used screws that basically just screwed into the bed liner. The box is a UWS black label. 47 inches wide but will probalby need to be wider to fit nicely if you have a regular bed.

theres a few pics of what It looks like cosmetically in the gallery. Since I had my drain holes drilled about 4 inches from the front of the bed, and the blocks lined up exactly with the drain holes, The block stopped a little short of going the full length. I used some angle Iron attached to the block and box to fill the gap.
cool setup
that's a great idea lifting the low-profile box up off the bed like that--i'm thinking like speedfreak because i have the 5.5' bed, so i'm going to work something similar out so i can still get some drywall or plywood underneath
