After Line-X

Those of you with Line-X, can the indentations in the bed still be used for 2x lumber?

LineX matches the bed contour perfectly but I'm not sure what you mean about the 2x4 and the indentations.

Just looked at a pic...you mean the cross beam bit?

I dont' see why it wouldn't look at this thread and you can see a pic...

That's the only way I can tell the degree in which my Line-X faded.
I have 2 2x6s (stacked) in the slot nearest the tailgate.
Two 2x4s wasn't tall enough and one 2x8 didn't go in easily.
The two 2x6s make a nice eleven inch wall.
They have been there for six years, used as bike clamp support and grocery/luggage barracade.

I was fairly sure they would, and not that it's going to change anything, just had to ask people how that works out after the Line-X is in. I like having a board or 2 back there to keep my beer closer to the tailgate.

Well, if you got a board back there already and it's tight, before Line-X.
Then after Line-X you'll have to trim 1/8" off each end.

Or if you are lazy, 1/4" off one end.

I swear some nut would do that just so it isn't off center.
