Typical Democrats... Tons of crap being spewed, no results. Bickering over non-sense, and lacking a clear exchange of ideas.

Are you all in office?

The whole I hate Rhino, I love Line-X, no try a bed rug, your opinion is different so you suck arguments. People getting bent over conflicting opinions (some more than others), and the bashing about products when ultimately no one has any proof, just opinions and crap talk. Just like wathcing a debate on C-Span TV or something.

Sounds like line x really relies on that warranty. Hey, Hyundai give the longest warranty in the car business, does that make them the best car manufacturer? I think NOT!!

Rhino lining Vs. LineX

There is a difference , but both are great spray-ins. If you do work that you dont want crap sliding all over the truck go Rhino. If you are a contractor, or someone that like a slippery surface.. go LineX.. STOP TRASHING ! I have had both... both have a purpose.

Granted, I am a bit biased because I do have a line-x, but i'm not bashing. However, I've never seen a "slick" line-X, mine is rough as sandpaper and nothing ever slides around.

Well, I can understand if you purchase a Line-X or Rhino and spend that much money on it to get it done, you're going to naturally feel hurt if someone says that you made a bad decision. That's pretty much what they're saying when they say "(insert your type of bedliner here) sucks."

There are good and bad Line-X and Rhino places, but most places are good. It's KIND OF like the difference between Ford and Chevy. We can show Silverado owners that their frame is paper thin, parts are lightweight and cheap, and they will still go with Chevy because "Chevy has OnStar" or "my grandpa had a '65 and it worked for him despite the 5 engine fires" or some other copout reason. Same goes with Line-X/Rhino. Line-X people can show Rhino people that their bedliner looks smooth, but if someone has had Rhino all their life and it's worked for them, what incentive do they have to change to Line-X?

Bottom line - get what works for you. You can rely on recommendations to a point, but there comes a time when you have to make your own decision. Don't let someone who flames the other company because they don't have a "triple stamped, no erasie, touch blue make it true" warranty, or some variant thereof, influence you to buy one when it's better for YOU to buy another.

Line-x 2000 mile territory

My protected territory is over 2,000 square miles and contains over 30 dealerships. In that same area there are ate least 4 Rhino Liners all fighting with one another instead of playing ball. That is why I have 28 of those thirty dealerships sending me trucks. And I am $50 more than any of the Rhino Liners. It just goes to show the buying decision is never based solely on price.

I do joint advertising and events with the Line-X guys close to me. All the Rhino guys are doing by fighting with one another is devalue a product that already needs a ton of help.

I guess I should shut up in case the guys from corporate Rhino are monitoring this site. I don't want to let them know why they are losing money and market share.
A good run quality Rhino spray-in liner is a good spray-in.. like any thing else.. if it isnt done right,, will not last. I can bet you some people have got Crapy jobs from LineX. You know it too.. I am sure you do good work.. but dont put every business owner on the same plate.

All I wanted was a spray on liner...

Didn't care if it was Line-x or Rhino.

Called Line-X first.
Dealer: What make of truck do you have?
Me: 2004 F150 Supercrew
Dealer: What size bed?
Me: UHHH!! 5.5'
Dealer: There's no such thing.
Me: I think I'll call Rhino.

Easy decision.
If the dealer wasn't Mr. Dumas, I would have a line-x now.
I'm very hapy with my Rhino.
It's all about the person doing the work on your vehicle.

You guys need to go see LINE-X with LINE-X Xtra applied. It's absolutely BEAUTIFUL. It will NOT fade, glossy, black, contains Kevlar, etc. Dupont is in the process of certifying LINE-X dealers to spray it. I was certified about two weeks ago. I've sprayed 5 trucks with it so far.

One thing to remember: Most bedliners look pretty good when they are brand new (unless the applicator does a bad job of spraying, I've seen plenty of those). After 3 to 6 months, things change. They begin to fade, some of the softer brands (100% polyurethane) sometime will show tears, there may be small chunks taken out of the liner, some brands tend to peel, etc.

One good thing LINE-X has done is to continuously address the problems with bedliners and they have responded with new and improved products throughout the years. A few years ago, one of the owners of LINE-X felt like the product was so good that LINE-X could offer a written NATIONWIDE lifetime warranty.

So, today, a LINE-X bedliner (which has more than double the tear strength of 100% polyurethane liners) with Xtra (no fading, scratch resistance, more stain resistance, more chemical resistant, black, glossy) with a written nationwide lifetime warranty is about the best you can buy. I'm VERY happy to offer a product like LINE-X to the public.

LINE-X conducts annual regional meetings. However, in February of 2006, LINE-X will hold its very first world wide convention in Dallas, Texas.

Some time in 2006, LINE-X will be sprayed as an OEM spray-on bedliner for TWO different auto manufacturers. I can't tell you who they are at this time, but I will when we are allowed to let go of the information. There is a third auto manufacturer that is currently testing LINE-X.

The real differance between the two, is the guy who's doing the spraying. So use who you like the best as a person to do business with not who says this is the best and someone else says that is the best, when is comes down to being as good as someone doing the job go with what people say about that dealer not the product.
