Undercover bed cover just installed

Hey everybody,

Just installed my Undercover bed cover yesterday!
Install was pretty easy, about 1 hour. Did it myself.

The cover is everything I hoped it would be. It's tough, fits well, looks good, and at $579.00 shipped to the truck terminal, the price was right.

I would recommend this cover to anyone looking for a hard top cover that is secure, lightweight, easy to remove, and affordable.

Sorry, I don't have pictures.

UnderCover

Suberbru,

I'm also considering an undercover. Are you still happy with yours? Does it look like it will weather and fade over time? If a fiberglass lid was the same price which one would you go with?

Thanks
Bill

After two weeks, I still like it. It is water tight, and easy to open-close.
As for durablility, I can't say as yet. But the finish seems tough and durable. I think it will look good longer than a fiberglass lid.
Undercover recommends using 3M 303 protectant on it, and I just bought some.
Anyway, time will tell. I'm happy so far.

superbru, Can you take the undercover off by yourself? or do you need an extra hand to take it off? What does the latch look like to secure the undercover closed?

Thanks

Superbru,

Do you have any sort of bedliner (spray or drop in)?

Goats,

I have the Ford Drop in liner. I was able to install the lid without cutting the liner or moving it in any way. I did have to use a different bolt hole in their bracket in order to clear the liner, but it went on without a hitch.
I also have the bed extender, and the lid doesn't interfere with it at all.

I am VERY happy with this product. Wish I had bought it a year ago. Drove it thru a recent downpour, and not a drop got inside.

Good luck!

Superbru,

I decided to go ahead and get one of these. I've been calling http://www.truck-bed-covers.net for over a week, but I can't get them to return my calls. Where did you get it and how did you order it (phone, web, etc).

Hey Bite,

I ordered it from truck-bed-covers by phone. They never returned my phone messages either. I just kept calling until I finally got through. They seem to be very busy!
Once I got through to them, they were very helpfull. Had to haggle a little bit to get the 579.00 price, but all went well!
Good luck.
