Torza folding cover
Torza folding cover
Seen a lot of talk about Fiberglass, undercover, etc. Had a Exstang on my Ranger, great product, but this time I don't want to mess with the snaps. Torza folding cover sounds interesting, has anyone had any experience one? Need your feedback to help me decide.
I had a Pace Edwards with my former Sport Trac, which was a roll up cover. It has served my needs well, but I'm looking at a fold up myself for my (new to me) 2002 F150.
I've been looking at the Fold-a-Cover (http://www.foldacover.com )
Their web site says to "watch for: Personal Caddy"TM - a twin wall, high-impact copolymer caddy..."
I've also seen ADVANCE FOLDING COVERS
but they don't look (as far as web sites go) to be built as well as the Fold-a-Covers do?
I, like you, would like some feedback first, before buying either.

My dad has a folding cover on his Silverado. I'll find out on Thursday what type it is. I know he likes it a lot. I have been looking at the JackRabbit and other rolling covers, but they are so expensive. My truck has a snap on cover but I need something more secure. The Personal Caddy sounds interesting, since I will be keeping my clubs in the truck from spring to fall.
Any idea on the price of these folding covers?

I looked at a lot of roll up's, and in my opinion, I though (think) Pace Edwards has the best. It seems like I paid about $800 with installation for the roll up -- although for the Sport Trac, I could have done it myself.
The fold up's seem to be a little cheaper, seems like I've been seeing them on-line for around $600-$700.
Let me know what your dad has, I'm also thinking of putting in a spray in liner (or having one put in, I should say).

Thanks for all the info so far everyone, every bit helps me decide. If anyone else is interested in a folding top, check out the Torza at www.torza-top.com. The vinyl is permantly attached to the frame, it folds in thirds, and is simply attached to your truck with four cam toggle type clamps. They claim install in 2 minutes and remove in 1 minute. Found it at carcovers4less.com for $299.99 including shipping. Still haven't decided if I want this, or to spring for the Undercover hard top. Everyone seem to have nothing but good to say about that one. I think I'll take some time this holiday weekend to check these out at my local dealer. In the mean time, keep those cards and letters coming. It's great to hear from all of you!!
