Replacement Bulb for ARE top?

The center/high mount third brake light on my ARE has several non-working diodes. I was wondering where I can find a replacement bulb. I have yet to pull the lens to find out exactly what type of bulb/diode is needed.

I performed several searches, all of which met with negative results.

This is kinda off topic, but while viewing your pix, I saw that many of you had ARE shells.

Thanks in advance,

Brian

I'm going to move this to the bedliners forum where you will probably get a little more traffic and a quicker answer....

Isn't that entire assembly sealed? In short, can you even replace individual diodes?

I have a hunch that you might have to replace the entire assembly... try contacting your topper dealer to see if they can guide you in the correct direction.

Also, if the diodes are individually replaceable, I know Radio Shack sells them by the single. I'm not sure if they would match though...

Thanks. I had a chance to take a closer look. It does appear to be sealed (no screws anywhere) and possibly epoxied to the shell.

I'll give my local dealer a call.
