Mblouir, Thanks so much for the tutorial. you are spot on. Just worked for me also. Again thanks to you and the other posts for taking the time to post step by step instructions I've used for fixes on my truck in the past

Going to be doing it this weekend... Will have my computer next to me so I can follow this... But I think I can probably manage without it.. seems pretty straight forward

Glad to see you put up new pictures!

The steps between pics 3-5 are the hardest. Prying the little box apart was the toughest part for me, even when I went back to take the 2nd set of pictures. If you have any problems shoot me a PM and I should be able to hit you back pretty quick (I check email regularly throughout the day).

Sounds good man.. appreciate that!

Also, when you said you used Q-Tips to clean the surface, is that all you used... or did you use sandpaper/wire brush or anything to try and scuff the surface, or are you basically just looking to get the gunk off?

Just did this on my 06 and it worked great. I'm apparently not as technically gifted as some of you because it took me about 30 mins.

Thanks for the writeup.

Yup, the clips took at least 15 minutes, which shows how easy it is to do everything else.
