DIY Intake Modification for 1997-2003 F-150
These intake mods are great!
I cut my air box thinking it would help but after reading this I realize it's warmer air think I should fix it?

Heck yea, I also just put in this set up on my 99 f150 with 7.5" lift and 35's and I noticed a difference an hour later once I got on the interstate at some higher rpm's..plus, it looks cool, gives better, and projects are always fun!

If you want to get this done in 10min or less I'd suggest using 3" PVC sewer pipe. It's thin wall requires no grinding and slips easily into the fender hole!!!

the one truck that was dynoed produced over 8rwhp and the K&N tested previously to that produced 10rwhp so I'd say on a cold engine in a cold shop or on the street probably 8-10rwhp
wow did mine today and went for a ride and i was shocked, 40 mph then i floored it too simulate passing and she starts to send my rear towards the ditch.(road was wet) , dont try this when road is wet.
