Colored F150/250 emblems to match paint ?

It's been a few years since I looked at these, but isn't there a company out there that you can custom design the F150/250 emblems or badges on the front fenders on our trucks? Mine have faded or paint has just chipped off and was going to get some that matched the paint instead of the chrome ones.

Thanks

PatriotDecals is what most people seem to use. They have since seem to have vanished without a peep. Website gone, Facebook page gone etc..

I've been told billetbadges.com so I'm gonna give them a call soon. Only downside, is I heard they are expensive and have a long wait till they are done.

Why don't you just get them painted to match?

I am basically, but I dont want them to be solid white. At billetbadges they can custom make them anyways you want.

I think getting them made with billet aluminum is good, but having 90% of it covered in paint defeats the purpose of them being made of metal instead of plastic. Do billetbadges have the alignment pins on the back so that can be applied properly?

I definitely wouldn't want them solid white either! I wonder if a paint/body shop could paint them white and then effectively mask around the letters to paint them black (or whatever color you want), as well as a stripe around the edges of the emblem or whatever else you may want

I would acetone them, then sand & prep, fill in the lettering with a clay, and paint them. Then after the paint cures, smudge out the clay carefully and fully clear coat them. End result, is painted badges, with chrome fonts. I want to attempt this with my truck as it would match my emblems perfectly since I am too cheap for '09+.

Im not 100% sure if they have the alignment pins, but their quality looks amazing and I would think they would put them on there.

Darren, you have a good idea as well. But, I'm not very good at detail work when it comes to something like that.
