Plastidip Is Amazing!
Hey all, my fender flares were so sun faded and I tried every product that says "we restore sun faded plastic trim" and none of it worked. I had a friend that was into using plastidip and raved about how awesome it was so I figured I'd try it. It is pretty awesome. For $5.50 a can at Home Depot I redid all my fender flares and they look as good as new, the cool thing is that if you don't like it, let it dry and you can peel it right off! If you have any questions let me know but I highly recommend it!
So far I've taken it on an offroad trail and through a car wash and it's holding up great! I'll keep you posted tho!
Very nice!! Glad it worked out well for you. My wheels are holding up very well (dipped back in November). The best part is if it ever gets scratched or peals off a little, you can just remove the bad area, pick up another can and have it looking like new again for cheap and quick
The matte black looks much better than the faded plastic. Have you ever considered trying their Glossifier over the black dip? Gloss or Matte, it looks great either way. https://www.dipyourcar.com/product.php?productid=1

Looks much better! Very nice.
Gloss it up! Paint matching isn't cheap but I'm all about PTM and gloss!

I'm not going to lie, it looks terrible
now before you (or anyone else) go getting your e-feelings all e-harmed let me explain why:
#1 the multiple shades of black makes the truck look a polka dot experiment gone wrong
#2 the lack of coordinating colors makes hte truck appear un-kept, un washed and straight up tacky
#3 why try for a "murdered out" look, and only half accomplish it?

I've used it on the grill of my ranger and my Turbo Blue powered CFR50-i like it however i did have a small spec chip off the minibike where my knee usually rubbed. But easy to fix if i just re-sprayed it. it did however hold up to riding the bike thru the woods and the creek and the small saplings that were slapping it and me...this is what happens when you are stuck following a 400ex...they think i can go thru ANYthing

For a thought. I'm thinking about "dipping" the front and rear chrome parts of my bumpers on my f150 and if I do, I'm not planning on pulling them off. So I will post how they turn out as well.
