My inspection guy said tint didn't matter that the windows could be as black as I desired. Just wishes his luck for johnny law out there.

I had mine done at an "LA Tint" shop. Had them match the front to the stock back. Forgot the price, but guaranteed for life. Had it done 6 years ago and still looks like new

I got 15% all around with 5% brow for free. I have a good buddy that tints professionally that's done all my cars within a few days of getting them, he did my SRT-4 the same day I picked it up from the dealership.

Darren, I think you need some more black paint on that truck! Seriously though, that's a nice looking truck!

Thanks man! I liked the 15% I had before but I really like this 5%. Feels awesome being so hidden haha.

I am thinking whenever I get to '09+ style badges that will knock off some of the loud badging chrome that the '04/'08 style have, and some polished chrome OEM 4" oval style step bars will lessen some of the bright chrome step bars from my Lariat 5" oval bars. Other than that the other minimal chrome accents are right on par just about!

Yeah 5% is nice, it's always nice to be able to pick your nose at a stop light without people giving you dirty looks... I would prefer 5, it's what I've had on everything else but all my buddy had was a strip of 5 to do the brow and 15 for the rest.

I've still got the chrome front and rear bumpers on my 99, I thought about painting the lower valance, but with the gravel roads around here I doubt it would look nice for long. I do plan on getting my honeycomb grill PTM soon, now I just need to get my lower rockers de-rusted and PTM!

I will definitely have to get the 3m Color Stable stuff! Looks like it's a perfect match for the factory. I'm glad there's someone out there who has gone through the hard work and $$$ to find a good match lol. I have some cheap precut stuff that I was going to use but I think I'm definitely going to hold off and do it "right" the first time.

I had my Monte completely re-tinted after I tinted the front ones myself. They just never matched in color and really annoyed me. I'm sure it would be the same if I used the cheap stuff on my truck lol. Thanks for all the info! Also, can't wait to see the newer badges on your truck. I bet they'll really look great on there
