Fogs behind the grill

Well I know its been done a bunch of times, well I finally put my lights up behind the grill. I fabed up the mounts and put in a set of piaa 520's thought I would share with you guys.

the factory wire harness had to be scraped so had to make a harness for it the lights work great.

Looks good!

Do you think there is enough room for four lights, six inch ones?

yes there is enough room I would have to move them over but I made it that way so I could if I wanted to in the future. But I realy like the way it looks with them centered.

I made the design and had it made from web extreme I dont know if the guy is still around. you could also try roger at devriessigns@gmail.com

roger is the best but he is really hard to get ahold of

Man, I posted up my bracket design a couple of years ago when I first did this mod to my truck. I'm glad you guys are enjoying it. The center support really does make a big difference. Keep up the good work!

Yes, it has been done and believe it or not, Ford made it easy for you on the '99-'04 (Heritage) trucks. They actually come with an FRP (plastic) cross member behind the grill at about the right height. With a little reinforcement, you can use this to mount lights. I did it on my '99 and '02, but don't have any pictures handy to prove it.

Can you remove the "PIAA" grilles, that would improve your light output. Nice job, BTW
