i can make one for everyone... ill try to have it by tomorrow..
ill do it my way, and the others way..
if you want to do it my way, just go to lowes and pick up some L brackets (4) mine came pre- drilled... then just get some bolts, and bolt them together to form a Z... unless you want it to be one bracket. i dont think it matters because you cant see it anyway with the hood closed..

Do the lights shake around a lot when going down a bumpy road?

i like your design, but i hate how close those bolts are to the cooler, maybe if i do this, i will weld them together.

no, not at all. the two brackets stacked on top of each other are about a 1/2 inch thick, so thats another plus about it.

i know, i hated it too.. which is why i cut them down, so they now have 3-4 inches between the brackets and the radiator. i dont think you would need to weld them, but if it makes you feel safer about it, then its a good choice

thanks for the comments

I had them mounted on the bull bar but they flopped all over the place because of the flimsy mounting brackets so I moved them. Here is how I did mine. For you H-bar grille guys like me.

I used a piece of c-channel aluminum and bolted it to both headlight mounting points.

Here's a closer look. I took a grinder and lopped off the top part of the c-channel where the light mounted. It's sturdy as can be and no more flopping.

It surprises me that with all of the custom designs, no one has actually marketed a kit that would fit behind the grill. I built one for mine and it is a little different still. If anyone wants the plans I drew them up as I went. Just PM me and I will shoot them to you.

Question light color and the grill affecting it?

I have been wanting to do this for a while but since I have HID headlights I would need spot lights that match that color. Where could I pick up some nice flood lights that are that color for a decent price? Another concern of mine is, does the grill not affect the light some what? I ask these questions because I am new to add on lights like this.

thanks,

Another thing I am wondering when buying these lights to go through the grill is do I want driving or spot type lights?
