What do you guys think of this for the hood?

5.4L decal for the hood that I bought off of ebay. This is a photoshop of what it will look like when installed, I am waiting for the actual decals to arrive. What do you think, yay or nay?

Yay i say.... Ive been looking for the style that extends the length of the hood in black but the lettering is cut out but haven't been able to find it. Patriot decals used to have them but i am guessing since ford intervened in their decal making business that they discontinued the making of those also... but yes on the decals. this is what ill be buying if i cant find the others

I talked to the guy on ebay about the quality of the decal because I had decals on my grand prix and gunk and dirt would get stuck on the side edges of the sticker. He said not his, his decals are cut very thinly and are glossy, he also said he has one on his windshield and windshield wipers go over it and he has no problems.

FYI...you can go to just about any sign shop that does vinyl lettering and they can make those up for you.

I assist my Dad with his sign shop we have been painting for over 20 years now and in the past 10 we have watched vinyl grow. We have now been doing vinyl for 5 years and what I can tell you is vinly is like everything else you get what you pay for. What usualy happens by people you buy off for cheap, yes the vinyl is thin.....its cheaper that way. The bad thing is it will look really good once done and for about a year. After that the vinyl starts to shrivle and peal off and lose color. good vinyl that cost a little more will last much longer, but in my opinion vinyl is for your house paint looks better and last way longer.

Looks really good. Maybe stick it on a little closer to the windshield or closer to the grille.

I managed to get mine while they were still making them. I'm sure a decal shop can make them if you bring them some pictures.

I like it! But How does it look if you move it closer to the windshield?

You don't like the factory chrome bug shield? I actually bought a full length black factory bug shield that I was going to paint to match my truck. I also installed a smooth wiper cowl, but i am thinking of going back to the factory black one. I had to get my windshield replace due to a huge rock hitting it and the guy at the shop said it was a pain in the *** to remove and put back on. My truck is one of those 08 limited editions with white chocolate paint.
