You can paint over it, but if you use the bed, it will wear off quickly(the paint and the liner). I would look into getting it rhino lined with white liner, I think they can do that and it would cost a little more, but not much.

Materials to sand, prime, line, and then paint would cost a decent amount and if you use the bed, will not last long. A white Rhino Liner or Line-X will last much longer and will remain white.

i would like to try this with the roof of my truck... there is a silver reg cab on here that painted his black and it looks amazing. but with black on the top of the roof i imagine it would be a little hotter inside and would worry about it fading due to no clear coat.

I haven't had any fading as of yet....but to touch it up is easy and cheap if it ever did. Or clear coat over it.

Like I said it sprays on easy and smooth. Cheap to touch up and it can be painted and cleared over. I think it would look great and you should give it a shot

Sorry I didn't specify. I meant just for the rockers. The bed was already rhino lined when I bought it and that's fine with me cause it gets used and dirty back there. I was thinking white along the rockers.

I use Rustoleum satin black on my frame every year. I wonder how this stuff would hold up instead?

I've wanted to get my rockers painted or lined black for a while now. Looks good on your truck! Now I just have to decide if I want to do it haha

Wonder how it would look to get your whole truck line-x'd . I really like how it looks on the rockers.
