NCSU- can i get the code for the search thing you got in your sig? It would be really helpful to throw in a thread when some newbie decides to ask something that needs that for a reply.

Just right click on it and select "copy image URL", then use it like you would any other image.

I agree NCSU, that some nasty glare!!

Looks good Fordtruckgirl! But no offense, you chose the wrong HID color for your fogs. They won't help see anything in rain or fog....

No Offense, but i dont understand why you think you need those bright *** fog lights, to me it shows people has no respect for other drivers. I pass by A holes every night that has these bright headlight's and fogs and sometimes it literally blinds me for a few seconds. Totally Rediculous, and should be illegal. Once again no offense to you Fordtruckgirl. SOme people just have no consideration for others and some people dont know that they are way to bright for oncoming traffic.

I didn't ask for bright A$$ fog lights, just wanted them to "match" the headlights. I think it looks stupid to have HID headlights with reg fogs. They don't look too bright in person...maybe it's the picture???

I totally understand what you are saying about the headlights and the fogs, it would look crappy but you also have to think if it shows up that bright in a picture just think what people is seeing when they are coming at you.

BTW your pickup looks awesome

I'll just bash the ********RS in so other drivers won't have to deal with it...oh wait, I can just turn em off! But in the meantime, I'll rip out my seat & sit on the floor...Awesome, I do have an amp to rest my a$$ on! Ohhhhhh, and I can spray paint B!TCH down the side of it like I always wanted.....

I need sleep

And people wonder why men think women are loony.

To answer you question above as to what color you "should" have gotten, research shows that a yellow light provides the most benefit during rain or fog, which is why many offroad fog lights (like PIAA) have the yellow tint to their fog lights, but keep the pure white for driving lights.

Trust me, they are that bright to oncoming drivers. I've got a set in my fogs too, but I only run then when on country roads late at night, and even then I turn them off when passing another car. It's the scattering effect of the reflector in the fog housing that causes the glare to be so bad. You've got a set of 'projectors' in your headlights, which is why they look better than the fogs.

If you really want to keep HIDs in your fogs, and be able to use them regularly, I'd suggest getting a HID retrofit for your fogs. I've done them for my heads, and the fogs are next on the list. PM me if you need any more info, or just search for "retrofit" or swing by www.sickhids.com and check out what they can do.

x2. It's expensive, but it's the only way to go if you have any consideration for other drivers. I pulled out my HIDs a while back and don't plan on running them until I can scrounge up enough for retrofits.
