Step Pad Replacement

What company supplies Ford with the 5" chrome tubular running boards (as found on the STX SuperCab) ?

Reason for asking: Need to replace the step pads (or get the plastic fasteners), however, they're only available from Ford with the bars.

.
-UPDATE-

Though it's bad net-etiquette to reply to your own post ... Persistence has paid-off and I've identified the step bar supplier to FoMoCo .....
AND ... They can provide replacement parts. In my case I was looking for the step pad clips.

For $41.50 ( includes shipping co$t ) a set of new step pad clips ( with the pads attached ) are winging their way to me even as I type.

Post some pics when you get them. I'm curious if they really are made from Deezee and if they say Ford on them.

The support rep' that I spoke to indicated that they would have the Ford logo ( which didn't really matter to me ), however, will post a pic' when I get them.

Do you know how to take these off. I just got a set of bars and they need a major cleaning. I want to take these off to get all of the crap from between them off. Also is there a way to take the end caps off?

Took a while ( wrong ones shipped, re-shipment went to FoMoCo Canada, DeeZee personnel on spring break, delay in re-re-shipment ), but they arrived today ...

I can read very well ty.. I meant like part#s etc since I have the exact same pads figured you'd save me and others some time rather than explaining to DeeZee what we need on the phone but no worries. I'll call them.. Thanks for helping me and others who might be interested with your thread..

Unfortunately the pads ( and the retaining clips ) do not have part #s on them nor did DeeZee provide any. May be because they were specific to an OEM part rather from their "aftermarket" product line. *Didn't really press the issue.

When I contacted DeeZee they wanted to know the year, make, and model of the vehicle as well as a description of the step bars. In addition to providing this information, as an aide to them, I also provided an example pic' ( *.above ) of the particular step pads.

Hey 1931Chevy, I was wondering if the pads on those running boards are removable? Once removed can they be put back on? I need to paint the metal on my boards but want to remove the plastic first.

Thanks!

Yes they are removable! I just ought the same steps but white! So today I striped the brackets and step pad off so I can send it to the powdercoater. The step pads are kinda a pain in the a$$ but if u take the two end caps off. U can see inside the plastic clips! I squeezed out the first two then I used a interior prybar to pop off the rest just take ur time so u are sure. It to break the clips
