I have 5% all the way around and 35% on windshield.. This will give some idea of how it will look inside/out with 5% if you did it all the way around..

These were taken at about ~5:30pm on a rainy day in the summer

More in the album if you need: Here

hell yea. double limo all the way around. i live in the sunshine state. also have a layer of 50 on the windshield. want darker. its really the tint on the windshield that makes the difference. before, even with double limo you could see in when the sun was beating down the windshield. now i can drive into the sun and you cant see in.

Yeah, 35 on the windshield has been about perfect for me! My brother has it on his Jeep SRT8 as well, and he loves it!

What exact percentage is double limo.. surely thats not double 5% on there is it?

And you can't see inside mine unless its REALLY sunny out and you put your face on the glass.. if you look at my windshield in the pics in my album the only thing you can see is the top of my steering wheel

Nope... Not YET at least... I do try and open the cover on the sunroof whenever I see one coming by to just to let in more light.

I've been stopped next to cops at lights and they haven't said anything yet...

Also had a cop (A friend of mine) ride with me for an hour and 30 and he didn't say one word about it... Not sure if he was just pretending he didn't see it or what..

But I still ride with my sunglasses on during the day.. Its definitely dark at night, but if you have good eyes, then you get used to it. I hate driving it without my contacts tho

To show you a pic of the front (more recent, and less cloudy)

Lot more sun in this picture.. (was blown up some, so pic is a lil crappy)

But sorry OP, threadjacking over for me

I did mine a little different. I have the factory smoked glass in the rear. It is about 20%, so what I did was 5% up front and a layer of 20% on the rear. I don't know if the math works but 20% of 20% is 4%. So that means that my back is just ever so slightly darker than the front. And you know what, when you are inside, it looks like the back is exactly the same as the front. From outside it looks identical too. I buy all my tint from a place called snaptint.com. Not a plug for the place, just an option since it is pre cut. But you have to install it yourself. Done it a couple times and it isn't that hard, just make sure you prep (clean) the hell out of the glass and do it somewhere that there are no drafts.

yes sir, double 5%. its really not as bad as people make it out to be. plus florida, sunshine state, will kill some interior without tint. and i have never recieved a ticket or even a warning about my tint.

edit:

remember, in our county, and most through out the state, cop cars have illegal tint. If i was a police officer, i would too.

I've got 15 on my expo and its pretty dark. The eyebrow on the windshield is a huge help. kills the glare and I think it really helps with the heat inside. I do hope in the future to have the windshield done in 35. Shank your tint just looks sick.

I got 5% all the way around and 35% on the front glass and my strip on the windshield goes down about a foot and ive never gotten a ticket. It keeps your truck cooler and it really does help when driving into the sun i would recomend 5% to anybody

I have 2 layers of 15% on the front windows, 5% eyebrow and 15% over the stock 18% on all rear windows.

The fronts are roughly 3% and the rear sides and rear window are around 3.5-4%

You def will not be able to see out at night with ~20% or lower...I had 15 on the stang and it was impossible, unless REALLY well lit. I love my tint....was 96 degrees on vacation and with AC on low the cab was nice and cool...even with my crappy AC.

Here's some pictures for comparison:
Taken around 6PM on 85 degree day:

Sunny Day around 70 degrees:

Inside of cab on sunny day:

Looking thru front glass:
