no but my 96 trans am wouldnt either...whats your point? most of the time it depends on the type of pavement or concrete or how sticky the tires are...
and i dont understand why you are saying i would have 215hp at the wheel after the tune......and why in the hell you were laughing about it....guess i missed that one. also i dont really even try to make them spin since i have axle hop. i just know they both could spin going into 2nd gear. in the 08 thats 30mph, in the 04 i had it was 40mph. and the 04 would actually kick the rear out a little bit to the side.
and like i said before, 202hp out of a V6 isnt puny. just to put the 4.2L into perspective..i had..
78 f150 351M V8 with 4spd manual-165hp, and probably 280-300Lb-Ft
89 firebird 2.8L V6-135hp 160Lb-Ft
86 chevy C-10 5.0L V8-160hp couldnt find torque but i would guess 250ish
96 trans am LT1 5.7L V8-285hp 335Lb-Ft(under-rated, some dyno at 300-305 at the wheels stock)
90 chrysler 5th ave. 3.3L V6-147hp 181Lb-Ft
97 ranger 2.3L I4-112hp- i think 135Lb-Ft
04 f150 heritage 4.2L -202hp 252Lb-Ft
08 f150 4.2L-202hp 260Lb-Ft
notice how 2 v8s both had over 35hp LESS than the 4.2L??? and how it has the most out of the V6s???

Dont even talk about torque. Thats only the small V8 too.

I also think that you being able to burn rubber at 30 MPH is pretty much BS. Sounds more like the belt is chirping due the shock of ******* your little 4.2.

30 hp is quite a bit, also like 45 more ft lbs of torque means bolt ons wont put you close to a stock 4.6, not to mention my truck is probably lighter and faster and im not rocking stickers, wings, hood scoops. Just two more cylinders, and a truck that would leave you way behind. Dont even make me post the OBS V6 5 speed getting raped by my truck.

nah you just wanted the, AHEM, RICER blue headlights..........which are retarded by the way...if your gonna do it, get the white ones. and i am not "rocking hood scoops and wings". i have not bought any. i posted that thread to get ideas of what other people have done to see what they look like because i was THINKING about it.

Back in the days when the 4.6's didn't have PI heads. Torque is what really matters, and the 4.6 had more of it.

Your the one trying to say your V6 is going to beat my V8, cause 202 hp isn't puny. 231 HP is puny but beats you by 29 hp.
