How To?!

No clue how to install the Bixenon HIDS i just picked up. Im terrible with wiring and electricals! Anybody got a HOW TO install HIDS (w/out relay harness) on 97-03 F150s. If you have the Retro Solutions Kit, that would be even better.

What wattage and bulb did you wind up getting?
Mine had a wiring harness ('06). Red and black to battery, with a third lead that plugged into (drivers side) factory connector for the bulb. Sorry, no idea about RS kits.....

Mine had a wiring harness as well. It's really a simple install..... you have one plug that'll hook into your factory headlight harness to control the bulb movement. The only other connections you have is one positive at the battery and a negative for each ballast. Just find a good spot to ground those (somewhere close to the ballasts) and you're all set.

Oh yeah the red is for the positive (+) battery terminal not the negative (-).

Right. Those other two should already be close to the ballasts, correct?

If its like any standard HID plug and play....its red to batter, black to ground and third wire to factory socket that will turn the lights on and off.
