6000k for sure. ive been driving around the past 2 days and ive noticed HIDS on other truck more often now, and have liked the look of the 8ks coming at you, with that nice bluish, but the visibility isnt what i want. 6000k is definately the way to go. a HINT of blue in the color. now im good. thanks for the votes!

the color output really depends on the bulb brand....some 6000k look like an 8000k. I personally like 5000k...brightest white with no color hint, factory HID

That's what my 4300 35W Retrosolutions look like. Also, keep in mind that camera have a hard time capturing the true color of HIDs (I think because of the auto white balance.)

I agree it depends on the brand. I have DDM and 5000K is pure white (55w heads/35w fogs). If you want a slight tint of blue go 6000K if you go DDM.

My 6k's have a fairly blue output, I wouldn't trade them for anything. Screw halogens!

oh screw halogens for sure. definately going with 6k. i wanna be more conspicuous then "hey look at me" blue lights. The truck being loud draws enough attention, dont need the cops to be drawn to me more

Those are DDM. Low beams in the pic. I got the bi-xenon high/low beams.
