sounds like you might need a resistor. google hit resistor kit. sometimes this will fix hids that don't work or flicker on and off alot. i had to do that on my mom's jeep.

Well I think the fog lights coming on has to do with the circuit being closed. when you pull the **** out, the loop is closed allowing power to the fogs.

from what it sound like, the heads might be sucking too much of the power to leave for the fogs.

Maybe check your fog relay & fuse.

DirtyD im not shooting down your idea because it is very possible, but i dont think that the heads are drawing too much to not leave enough for the fogs because thats what ballasts are for. to step up or step down voltage, in this case, their application is to step it up.

It's cool man. I posted this before I saw what brand HID kit his was. There are some fake ballasts out there that act as nothing more than a capacitor pair with higher wattage bulbs. That's what I meant initially. But seeing his kit is made by DDM, I doubt it's fake.

Check both the HID relay and the fog light relay. It's not common, but there might be some surging going on. That is if that can happen with HIDs

sounds like to me that you don't have relays for the hids. without a relay the hids will try to draw too much power from the stock harness and it will make them flicker.

edit: from looking on ddmtuning's site they do not include relays and you have to buy those seperately so unless you bought them along with your kits then im about 99% positive that that is the problem
