Sorry to jump in here, but I have a related question. I just ordered a 55w hi/lo kit and a 35w kit for my fogs. After reading this, I'm guessing I need to get this relay kit as well, and I'm guessing I would need one relay kit per hid kit,one for the heads and one for the fogs?

yeah that seems to be correct. on ddm's site i looked at some frequently asked questions thing about the hi/lo bulbs and they say that an additional wire is required to be hooked up and that this new wire is included in a new cable with the hi/lo bulbs. so these new bulbs should come with a new wire that runs from the headlight socket to the bulb somewhere and the way mine is this new wire has a small almost telephone cable looking plug on it that plugs into the new hi/lo bulbs and this cable sends a signal that moves the magnet in the new bulb to change the position of the beam when you switch from high to low and visa versa.
here is where i got this from.

yep you would need one relay per kit. so one relay for the fogs and one for the headlights. so two in all.

according to the site all you have to do is buy the new bulb and everything else is included with it.

my high beam certainly makes a difference on my truck in the stock housings, but my kit is from xenonlink.com so idk. they appear to use the same technology in the high and low beam, a little magnet that moves the beam so you should be about the same as mine.

ok thanks, i think im going to order another kit for my fog lights and order the high and low beam bulbs for my headlights, and i would need a relay harness for both fogs and heads right?
