You know, I've been having a lot of fun with the Camry, but I've been feeling kinda homesick for my truck. I'm really excited that I get to drive the truck to Farmington tomorrow!

I'm actually looking to get like a late 80's or early 90's Toyota truck to mud in, I went mudding for my first time a few days ago and it was awesome.

Like a Tacoma or a T100 or something? Those things, are cheap and won't ever die. Did you ever see the Top Gear where they try to kill one?

Jeez... I need to do something on the truck to get this back on topic...

I will say that I have something in the works, but I'm not saying what....

All I can say is, "Mini Keg".

I just want something to get stuck in, ha. If you put a mini-keg in your truck, you will be my idol!

Hey everybody!

Not really much of an update, no money for mods when I have to buy books...

But, I saw this at breakfast the other morning, totally made my day!

Hopefully a real update soon...

The Raptor?

Yeah, for those I'm with you. Now my little 4.2 V6 2WD dosen't do so hot off road so I'd be okay with a "shined up street queen". But mine usually has mud or bugs, or whatever all over her anyways...

Hey everybody!

I haven't really been around much lately, way too broke to start anything new... Once again, that whole "higher-education thing" go figure... :P

Anyway, to start off the year right I thought I'd finish up somethings that I'd already bought. For those of you that remember, I bought a Gauge Cluster from a fellow forum member awhile back. It's from Canada, so it's in KPH (You know, that inner VW guy comes out every once in awhile ).

So here's where I'm at so far. (Other than I finished sanding it, I think the last picture shows it half way done).

Two things that I found out before I started that really, really helped are...

1.) Use a pencil to mark where the needles are before you remove them. It will help you out later, and pencil is erasable.

2.) A fork will work wonders in removing the needles. If you go slow you will three pops and the needle will slide out. EASY. I was really, really worried about this part, and honestly that was the easiest part.

Hopefully more updates soon!

So I should being doing other things, but yeah...

Anyway if anyone remembers I had bought a hood cover a couple years ago. I didn't like how it covered the grille, so I never used it.

It's a crappy pic, but it shows it as I bought it.

Here's what I came up with this afternoon.

If I decide to keep this, I know it's needs a little tweaking. I'm just trying to figure out if it's worth the work...

(If you don't like it, be honest. I'm really torn on it...)

Thanks guys!

I ended up doing more on the truck today than I planned...

Free car wash.

Yay.

Small picture (IDK why...)

Then, I finally installed these.

Before:

I didn't get to leave the front end cover on very long (car wash) so I'm still on the fence about it. I just don't like how it fits on the corners of the hood.

Don't really care for the hood cover. Just get a bug deflector or something.

Maybe take off your grill and tuck it in between the grill and the hood. Otherwise no.
