Okay, back on topic tonight (I promise)

First off, I tried to post these pictures the other night and something wasn't working right so tonight it is. Installed photos of the Stubby:

Yay!

Also, questions for the forum... I know that I need some maintenance, and need to finish some projects.
So, I need help putting stuff in a priority list. Here's what I've got so far (in no particular order):

-Automatic Transmission Fluid Flush (It was due @ 30,000mi, so about 8,000 ago. )

-Fixing my brakes. I didn't spend a couple hundred bucks on Slotted Rotors, Baer Pads, and new hubs to have a pulsating pedal
and an ABS light on. Everything works fine, so it's not a safety issue; it's just very, very annoying.

-Detailing. I'm not sure why I'm adding this here; I'm doing this ASAP. It's driving me crazy!

-Buying a fourth Center Cap (I have a feeling that if I don't add this on the list certain people will be upset with me )

-Reset, and install me new gauge cluster. I have it already and it's not doing me any good sitting in my room.

-Finishing up my Fog Lights. Everything is installed; I'm just stumped on the wiring. Wiring is not my strong point.

Of course I have a laundry list of things that I want to do, but these need to get done quickly,
and I'm just trying to put them in an order of importance.

Feel free to add something to the list if you know of some required maintenance that I missed.

Thanks Everybody!

Well the wipers themselves worked great! They're kinda like having your windows tinted. You can live without them, but once you get it, they're hard to live without. My only complaint is that when I ordered them I got the Carbon Fiber looking style. For whatever reason my brain wasn't on that day, and I didn't realize that they weren't real carbon. ($22 from Tirerack, why would they be real CF at that price, I dunno...) Anyway, I just noticed this yesterday but, the clearcoat is peeling off.

Yay.

One more PTM project this season I suppose.

All in all though, I would defiantly recommend them anyone. Just be sure to order the black rather than the Carbon to avoid the clearcoat problem.

What does the silicone do again? It's like have Rain-X on a wiper, right?

Basically. These PIAA's also have the air deflector on them as well and that helps keep them down in the wind.

Years ago i had a pretty bad shudder in my brake pedal. It turned out that my front calipers were bad. They were replaced under warranty.

Thanks mate. The ever popular "Accident Mod"...

I looked at your pictures, and I see that your truck is black. You can actually save a a ton of money when you paint it because black is a lot less complex to mix than DSG. $20 at a time though, if you want to do it go for it!

Strange Update

So not on the truck exactly, but kind of.

Okay let me explain...

I was at dinner with my Grandparents a couple weeks ago, and my Grandfather mentioned that he was thinking of selling one of his Camrys.

That didn't quite go to plan...

So apparently I just inherited a 1996 Toyota Camry LE Wagon... They had a '96, as well as a '97 Sedan and they never drove the wagon, so voila! So I'm thinking about making the Camry my daily. Better gas mileage, and keeps mileage off the truck. Seeing as the Camry is mechanically perfect, whatever money I save on gas I can put into the truck. (See, back on topic ) Now you guys know me, and know that I can't leave anything stock... So, here's the build up thread on the Camry

My goal is to spend more money on the truck than I do on the Camry (but that shouldn't be hard seeing as parts are much cheaper when the car is 14 years old )

Alright, well I'm done for the night.
And no one give me any crap for it being a foreign car
1.) It was free.
2.) 30mpg

So There! haha

Yeah, it needs tint really bad. I burned the crap outta my hands yesterday.
The steering wheel is brown = ouch
Black steering wheel in truck = fine, because of tint...

You know we have the 4.2, aren't we supposed to be getting good mileage?

What are you planning on getting? Any plans, or just whatever comes along?

Seeing as I've been driving the Camry lately and missing my truck, I thought that I would clean her up a little bit today.
I didn't get a chance to actually wash/wax/detail, but I needed to get all my crap out of her before that so...

I Cleaned out my crap!

and, now with that expensive mod of organization!

Woo!

(If anyone is wondering, that pink wallet isn't mine. I helped a co-worker move a desk him and his wife were buying like a month ago. We'll they forgot that in the truck, and I've been trying to get a hold of them ever since... I just left it in there so the next time I see them I can give it back. He's lucky I'm an honest person though; a $25 Gift Card to Applebee's fell out while I was cleaning today.... )

Oh, in case anyone missed it (and really just to keep my threads linked together) I actually used my truck as a truck today!
