Question A couple grille emblem questions.....

After searching, I still couldn't find answers to these questions concerning grille emblems.

I understand that the 2004-2005 grille emblems do not have raised lettering. Do they have guide pins (like the 2006-2008)? Also, where can I get these emblems without going thru the dealer?

Any help would be appreciated

If I don't get an answer about the guide pins before your emblem arrives, would you be so kind as to let me know?

Thanks

Bump..........Could one of you 04-05 owners please take a look at the back of your grille and tell me if the emblem has guide pins or is fastened with 3M tape? Thanks

My 05 had the pins on the honeycomb grille it came with. I moved my emblem to the HD grille I have now and it fit perfectly. And no raised lettering on it either.

Mine had two pins that are held in by cheap little nuts, with 1 offset balancing/guide pin.
