Haha that doesn't even look normal. I have 35% on my windshield and love it. I've never had a problem with the police, and notice barely any difference driving at night.

Looks good but I bet the night time visibility could be better, and i'd be concerned as hell about the wild life that like to leap out infront of cars.

Wonder if he saw you snap those pictures, must have him worried that you were a cop and took his plate #

Try 5% over 15% on the front and 3 layers of 15% on the back, that's what I'm running now. It's damn dark.

Hey F22A

Well that all sounds great..... but the real question is, how much of a "positive" difference do you notice during the day ???

I already have a nice, dark 5% visor strip, so all it would take, would be some 30 or 35% over the whole windshield.... I'm just curious as to the benefit....

Wow I am surprised that you haven't got stopped around here yet. When I had 5% wrapped on my last truck I got 2 different tint tickets.

But with that being said, I believe I am fixing to tint this truck darker. But who did you get to do your windshield around here? Might have just been the guy I talked to but he acted like he wouldn't do it a while back.

Well I had 15% for well over a year then just last week I had 5% layed over it.

West coast does it but it's pricey, 100 bucks. The guy I had do it, and my most recent tint on my truck and my moms Acura live's in hillcrest and actually does it out of his garage. Cool guy, works a Mercedes. He charges 60 for the windshield, with a strip if you need it.

Fish Chris. For me the 35% just cuts glare down a good amount, and I also like the privacy and love watching people trying to look in but can't see me.

Without tint.

Sitting inside the cab.

That's a big difference.

That is seriously way too dark. I wonder if he can still see thru the road at night.

Hey Lovethetide, I like it ! :-)

You have convinced me.

Like I didn't have enough to spend my money on "before" I thought about this :-)

BTW, I don't know if you, or anyone else caught this.... But earlier in this thread I mentioned looking through tint with polarized glasses, and getting the "rainbow effect" situation going on..... but then it dawned on me... that doesn't happen in my side windows ? Now I'm trying to figure out what circumstances cause this ???
I will certainly do a test of some of the 35% "not attached yet" to make sure I don't get some kind of weird crap going on, as like I say, I ALWAYS wear my sunglasses when I drive.

Peace,
Fish

Funny you say that because my side windows don't do it(I think) but my windshield does. Maybe it has something to do with what is already on the windsheild to protect it and keep it from shattering? Hell I don't have a clue.
