Does anyone use a bugshield? I really saw

a difference in my hood when I did not have one on one truck, then put one on my next one. No chips. And driving 58k in less than 2 years puts a little bit of bug damage up there. I just bought the new Lund my the new XLT. Just wondering why I don't see many in the photos.

I took mine off because the functionality dosnet seem to offset the weirdness of its looks. To me, my hood looks cleaner with it off

I like the look of the bug shield on mine. It has saved me from at least one rock chip in my windshield.

The bugshield was the second minor mod, after the tint, that I did to my truck...I only wish I would have had it before I got the first ding on my windshield. Anyways, since I put it on I haven't had any more dings or scratches on my hood.

Well, it seems we again have the freedom of choice and to voice our own opinions. Thanks guys, from input from both sides. I put it on my new XLT to protect the front of the hood due to experience. From the amount of driving, it was worth the price. Some like it, some don't. I think it looks fine, especially with smoked windows . Just adds contrast to it. My XLT is Pueblo Gold. Also had one on the 04 FX4. Thanks again. Nice rides posted also.

Had one on my Ford Exploder , but I don't like the look of them on the F-150's. 3 years now and no chips or dings for me.

The previous owner liked bug shields, I didn't. That and the vent shades were the first thing I removed from my truck.

I just wish I had put mine on earlier. Then I wouldn't have that one deep stone ding. It has helped to prevent a few other dings as well.
