Installed HIDs today!! And NOTHING happend!! WTF

Well so me and blackedoutv6 installed my new headlights and installed my HIDs in my headlights and foglights!

So the moment of truth came! and nothing happend!!

My headlights will not work at all! But my foglights do!
And both of them only come on win I turn my light switch a couple of times.
We switched wires, ballasts and nothing happend!

Im guessing it has to be the bulbs but how can both of them not be working???

I need help ASAP!!!

You might have installed the kit onto the hi beam wire rather than tapping into the lo beam...Unless you have a true plug and play, you stock harness might not be able to take the initial power when you first turn them on

Also check to make sure your grounds are all secure and bolted or screwed into the body.

Switch the high/low arm and see what happens.

Are you saying that they light after switching on/off a few times? These may be crappy ballasts. The chances of BOTH bulbs being dead are one in a freaking million. You can test the bulbs on a seperate ballast if you know someone who has them. Who did you buy them off of and how much? You may have bought lemons. I just spend $40 total on an HID kit for my sisters ricer and they are crap. You have to ignite them a couple times to get both sides firing...

Are the bixenon?

Its a true plug and play system no splicing and no ground is required.

It takes atleast two times on/off to get both of my foglights to work but My headlights do not work at all!

I did get them very cheap for 58.00 bucks a set

I would try the connections to see if power is getting to the bulbs and if not u might have to splice it....

Ill have to try that!

I switched ballasts and lead wires and nothing changed they still dont work!

I plugged one of the old halogen bulbs back in just to see if maybe I blew a fuse or something but the halogen bulb worked just fine! I dont get it!

Im going to a custom car shop tomm where they do really good work and have installed all my buddies HIDs so I will talk to them and see what they have to say!

I just drove around with my Fogs on and they are plenty bright so I should be fine for tonight

Those are tell-tale signs of faulty ballasts. You got jynxed with a crappy set. I'd contact the seller and request new ones

Agreed, contact with you seller. They should be able to suggest you some trouble shooting procedures.
Although your HID kit is not from us, but your problem sound like you would need to reverse the Polarity. For 9004/9007 bulbs, there're 3 different types of wiring

i didnt even think of trying the high beams...

also i noticed while installing his kit that the plug that goes into his headlight socked only has 2 wires opposed to the stock wiring having 3? is that because his kit isnt bixenon or is it a problem with the kit?

The kit lines up perfectly but I know its not faulty ballasts because we took the ballasts from the headlights and switched them to the fog lights an they still didnt work!

I called a shop (Street Beat) and they said they would charge me 55 bucks to re-install them and add relays!

What exactly is a relay supposed to do for my HIDs?

It gets power to start them up directly from the battery rather than getting the power from the stock harness.
