I think they are awesome ! Been looking at a set for me, just cant swing the coin right now.

Anyways, I would go with the full length, with the extra step for the bed. Drives me nuts having to climb in, and then back out, for ONE stupid little item I can't reach. A step would be so sweet !

I like the look of your truck as it sits now. Never been a real fan of nerf bars or tube steps. Now lets talk amp steps and keeping those clean lines on the truck Its your money do as you wish, im just a huge fan of how the amp steps keep the look of the truck cleaner. Then again you may want the rugged look of the Nfabs...

Ive noticed if you put steps on truck it makes them look like they are sitting lower. I really like the look you have now and if you were going to get steps id go with something that didnt hang down as much IMO. Btw i REALLY like your truck. I think "WOW" every time i see it!

If you really need them to help with getting into the truck then go ahead and get them, but if you can manage getting into the truck easily I would stay with what you have. Just my 2 cents

i think for scabs you can get the extra steps , but on the screws , the bar just extends to the wheels

For the price and the looks im not feelin them but thats me. theyre boring lookin? amps are nice but too friggin expensive. I'd say go with stock black tubes or nothing(love the look right now).02

I had some on my lifted Dodge Cummins, and loved them. They look tough and are plenty sturdy.

I think the black, full length bars would look good on your truck, and cover/hide the frame that shows under the cab. It wouldn't make it look much lower because most of the bar sits tight to the body, the steps are the only low part. If you need a step those are your best choice. Unless you like the amp research ones and don't like money.

spring steps

I know I"m REALLY late at hopping in on this thread, but I just now started searching previous posts about steps because I'm considering picking some up, and I just wanted to see what people had to say about them. I'm actually thinking about getting the bully dog spring steps for my 2002 crew cab. I like the idea that they fold up so I don't lose ground clearance, but they don't cost the bread that amp steps cost. While I too would love to have a set of AMPS, I would also love to win the lottery to afford them, but I guess we can't always get what we want huh? lol

did you end up getting steps, and if so what kind? Do you like them? Hit us with an update!!
