click link...I have 2 hours in my headlights and 5 hours in the tails. Taillights took lots of wet sanding to get them perfect!

Headlamps,
-Buy Krylon Fusion black spray paint ( gloss or satin your choice ) and some 1000grit sandpaper, and some black silicon at your local auto store/walmart/whatever carries glues.
-pre-heat oven to 250 degrees, insert 1 headlamp ( bulb removed ) and time it for 10mins
-flathead screw driver ready, pull the lamp after the oven times out, start at the bottom corner and work your way gently prying it apart, dont go too quick yet dont go too slow.
-mask what you dont want painted, lightly scuff what will be painted
-paint 3 layers and double check, allow overnight dry.
-peel masking and apply a decent sized amount of silicon to the headlamp shell ( outer ) and re-apply headlamp lens, fully press on and click the tabs, apply additional silicon around the lens where it meets the shell, overnight dry.
-install next day and enjoy.
Tail lamps,
-remove, clean with alcohol/amonia based cleaner.
-clay bar and polish if very dirty
-mask reverse lamp if desired ( If you dont want it super clear you could do 1 layer then mask the reverse light and finish the tail lamp )
-Spray VHT at the edges of the taillamp, then spray from longitude, top to bottom, bottom to top method until darkness level is achieved.
-allow 2hr dry time or overnight if available.
-possibly have a shop ( or a friend with a pro paint gun ) clear coat them with automotive paint for a clear and glossy finish.

headlight painting
does anybody swap out lights already separated for a stock headlight in return? I started this process and I'm just not getting it. Afraid to ruin the light. My truck is grey shadow and I have factory match paint for it so I want to paint them myself and put them together.
