The logic behind hating chrome is simple, let me lay it out
Stupid people are attracted to shiny objects .. like chrome
Stupid people are usually thieves.

Hells yea' ! :-)

I'd drive that solid chrome Ferrari ;-)

That AC Cobra looks bad *** too, but hey AZ, those had aluminum bodies..... So I'd guess that one is just polished aluminum. Still very cool :-)

Peace,
Fish

Damn !

I love "green paint" and that flat look is cool too..... but that flat green F150 is WAY freaking out there ! Even if I liked it {and honestly, it's SO freaking different, it would take me a while to decide} I wouldn't expect a lot of other people to like it.....

Hmmmmm. That must truly be a guy who doesn't give a $#!+ what the next guy thinks. Hats off to him for that anyway.

And just think, you guys said "my truck looked military" ! Mine can't touch that one for an army truck ! :-)

Peace,
Fish

yep it is aluminum ive seen that in person i believe at barret jackson but the new kit cars are usually fiberglass so that body was most likely hand built (as they were back in the day too)

the stripes are brushed

drew i have backed up a lot of the things ive said, for example headers on a supercharged engine even though will reduce psi will gain horsepower, you said you talked to the people at magna (or the company that put their name on the magna and you were sponsored by) so then i emailed them asking about it and they agreed with me not you. therefore backing up my statement with your credible source

just an example........

I think Drew's truck has a great balance of chrome and color I like to think mine has the same. blacked out just is not for me, it looks good when done right, but lately its starting to look like moto metal 951's..... ITS EVERYWHERE!!

As for chrome attracting stupid people... I dont think so. You will never get as much attention blacked out as you would with a set of chrome rims all clean and shiny, reflection everywhere plus a nice wax job on the truck. Heads turn so fast people get whiplash

Too much of anything is too much. It doesnt matter if its chrome or not.

I pretty much agree with the above. I like balance of the chrome, black and red can look really good. I do not like rides with the chrome overdone, It looks like garf. Too many people are going all black for me, and I think the monochrome rides can look a little plain. Just my 2 cent, YMMV.
