The way I look at it. Rob and big becomes popular and his "murdered" out suv is spotlights and everyone wants to do it. The difference is Chrome is going to be around forever and "murdered out" might last a couple years.

to me, chrome just = cheap. I know thats not the actual case, but its the feeling I get from a truck, like the one styx posted. It makes me think someone went on a spending spree in VatoZone. Glued on cheap crap. Even if its something nice and expensive, chrome makes me THINK it looks cheap and crappy.

I prefer a flat paint job on the truck, with a flat black rim. "I don't want mine to shine !! "

And, as everyone knows, Chrome wont get you home.

Some of the best looking vehicles at SEMA had the flat paint jobs. Tons of F150's were sportin it, and it looked good.

Chrome rims, like Midgets are cool. Chrome dangles and doo-dads are too much. Crap like Drew's interior engine bay, makes me think Vatozone. (no offense guy, just my opinion).

Something like a blacked out truck, but chrome bumpers, might work too. Just my opinions though.

Correct.. Styles come and go in phases with the only change being the name.
Today's "murdered out" look is the same as the "AMG" look in the 80's.

In 1983 I built a custom 200sx with an hks turbo which looked the same as Styx coming soon truck,

The difference is I did it 25 years ago with a car and he is dreaming about doing it with his truck

It was PLENTY popular for a LONG time before "Rob and Big". Just so ya know. Maybe a regional thing ? i dunno. But I have been around anti-chrome guys all my life. Ever into Rat Rods ?? Might have some, but nothing overly shiny. There is also a long standing club, based on the anti billet idea. Its been around awhile. Wont go anywhere either. Mainstream might pass it up in a few years.... but its still there.

and since that first post I made back in mid 2005, I waited 3 1/2 years for you to back up just 1 thing you said. Nothing to this day..
3 1/2 years of you hating on my truck and others and you have done?
If a person buys every mod they have from autozone or pepboys, they did the best they could with what they had to work with....
So why put them down?

Because, if all i could afford was Vatozone, I wouldn't go and buy a 30k truck Thats retarded. Oh, and I'd get off my ***, get an education, and make some money. Nothing holding them back, but themselves.

No offense taken. I just consider the source.
WTF is that suppose to mean ? You mean its comin from a far SUPERIOR source ? Never even talked to you, or read your posts. How in the fawk can you consider where its comin from ? You don't know me from the next.

Lets see... you know I work on mercedes... cars you only wish you could sniff the tailpipe of. Might know I build and compete off-road. You know I have a lifted truck..... and thats about it. No wonder not a soul on this site likes you. I haven't even talked to you before, say I don't like your chrome, and you try and make a personal attack. Cool dude. Guess I should follow suit, and I need to consdier where its comin from. Filth. Nothing but.

As for what Midget has done ? Are you kidding me ? I envy some of the work he has put out, and I have been doing it for a few years longer. You really have not a clue what your talking about. Open your mouth and remove all doubt.

Don't get it twisted.
1. Think back to the original Ca bulldog thread... and you said what about me and my truck...Air bags on trucks are for homeboys like Drew.. etc
2. Yes I know you work on Mercedes, before you attacked me in the Ca bulldog thread I went to your site and was planning on calling you when I had my 2003 E55. I had a few Renntech sponsored parts and I always try and help others get their foot in doors if they are interested. People have done that for me over the last 25+ years.
3.I share deals on items and discounts all the time with members.. Even those who are full of sh@#$
4. As far as AZ and I, get the facts right before you open your mouth...
