Lets try this once more..... Patriot Decals.....

Okay, so I was pushing the yellow band in PhotoShop, to try to make my Stone Green paint look as "gold" as it really does, under the right lighting. And while I think I got my paint color pretty close, I inadvertantly made my inlay / overlay color a bit too "yellowy gold".

My only excuse is, I'm (temporarily) using this crappy little 13" monitor, which is kind of like trying to do photo work on a Blackberry ! Doh ! :-)

Anyway, it didn't really look like this >

....but rather, like this >

And not really like this >

....but like this >

Not like this >

But like this >

And finally, not this >

but like this >

So anyway, you may still not like it.... or still love it.... But either way, at least this should give you a more fair representation, of what it really looks like in person.

Peace,
Fish

I don't care what they all said in your earlier post, I like the gold. I think it looks classy and is a nice accent to your dark paint. Tons better than the oem chrome and much nicer than black or gray would have been.

Nice work Chris.

Right on :-)

Well, the guys that didn't like it were quicker to post.... but the guys who did, are showing up more now.

Looks better with "less yellowy" decals though, right ?

Peace,
Fish

Cool

RIGHT... Looks AWESOME!!! X2

I'm going to be blacking out my badges too!
And getting some inlays from Patriot Decals.

What color inlay do you think would look good on my truck??

The Truck is Silver and Charcoal.

I'm tossing around the idea of Red, Charcoal, Silver, or maybe Green...
My only worry with Green is that it would clash with the Red FX-4 logo.

AirAid modular intake tube, K&N filter, Magnaflow Exhaust, Line-X'd bed and fender wells, 2.5 Inch AS Level Kit and 3 inch AS Rear Block, 1 Mile range Viper 5900 SST remote start and alarm system, JL Audio Stealthbox, JL Audio 500/1, JL Audio 300/4, Alpine Type-R 6.5 inch components in front doors, Alpine Type-R 5x7's in rear doors, Alpine Iva-w505, LOTS of Dynamat, 15% Tinted windows, Billet Grills in factory H-bar and lower bumper.

I think it looks good. I like your style.
Have you thought about night shading your tails? Not too dark, but enough to knock the "bright" out of the red?

I think red in the same shade as your FX4 sticker would look nice.

Personally I think it looks great in either set of pictures. The color of the truck along with the rim color makes this work in my opinion. Congrats!

Hey Fish, I can definately see the difference with the yellows being toned down some. The gold looks great after all, I take it back for questioning your choice on colors, I couldn't imagine any other color for your truck.

Honestly, for some reason my camera does the same thing to my emblems, it makes all of my Dark Shadow Grey look silver, and almost white in some pictures, when it's obviously much darker in person. My FX4 decal is flat black, with dark shadow grey outline, and in this pic the dsg looks white, and the pic was without flash.

Much thanks to all.....

Hey Mr. Extreme, hmmmm...... Charcoal badges, and silver inlays ? Or, charcoal badges, red inlays "if" you can get the same color as your FX4 decals.... BTW, green is my favorite color.... but their is no other green on your truck for it to go along with.

Hey Zeruin, your FX4 decals look freaking awesome.

Hey Dankle, actually, I have HD tail lights at the top of my list (right after I finish my stereo system :-) I know I could make them darker myself, with the nightshade stuff.... but I'm allready pushing it with my window tint, and license plate covers (and soon, loud *** stereo)
But anyway, yea, the HD tails, and I really have to do something with my back up light (on the top, back of my cab).

Peace,
Fish
