black ford emblem

today i painted my ford emblem matte black i think it looks pretty good.

all i did was sand it down, mask it off and then painted it with dupli-color i got from advance auto parts. I like how it came out. of course 4 hours later i find a site where i can order black vinyl overlays. now all i need is a black bumper i dont like the chrome one.

Good job. I didn't know it was possibly to paint the front OEM emblem. Theres no backing and the rubber infront I thought was impossible to get off.

going back to your old ways with spelling errors i see

i think the paint looks great! Did you do any clear coat on it?

yea i taped off the ford script and chrome oval with a hobby knife then painted. i ordered the black decals from patriotdecals.com because the paint is already chipping. i should have clear coated it.
