Headlight Covers Help!

Hey crew. Another question for ya. I have the GTS "carbon fiber" headlights, and I was wondering if there's a way to make them look like the "projector beam" type. The carbon fiber look on my covers is nothing more than black paint that's applied in a carbon fiver looking pattern.

I know I could mark out a pattern and scratch off the paint I want removed, but I'm afraid that would leave the cover all scratched up....can't have that.

Any suggestions? Acetone?

Return them, buy real projector lights, and actually make your truck look good

Had 'em too long to return, I can't afford "real projector lights", and I thought my truck already looked pretty good(?)
