strobes in New body style head lights

i am considering getting some strobe lights for my new 04 F150 Fx4 for my job and was wondering that since the headlight is so clear what it would look like with the extra bulb in the headlight
Thanks, Redneck2014

what do you do for your job? if you put a "U" or "M" shaped strobe in one of the sides, it wouldnt distort the light any from your bulbs. from a distance, you cant notice, but up close you can see them.

You both should check out www.elightbars.org for lighting needs. I will caution you though, if you do not have a legit reason to have them you will be banned from that forum. (And yes Rap, I know you now have a legit reason)

I just installed them in my aftermarket projectors. They are the "m" style strobe light. You cant even tell they are there unless you actually look for them. I used a cone bit to get a nice perfect hole in the headlights, and reverse lights. The hardest part was trying to convince myself to drill holes in my lights. But I am very happy with the results.

And no I do not have a legit reason to have strobes, (firefighter, emt, storm spotter, ect.). But I am also not a dumbass and know when it is right to use them and when not to use them. So dont give me the hole speech an posting the law that has been used and abused. In texas they are not illegal to have, just to use while on a road.

I am installing them in my truck right now. I will post a few pics for you if I can. The only reason I have them in my truck is becuase I am a firefighter.

tell me about it. i was in my fast food uniform directing traffic (power went out, so they let me go and i was put on traffic duty for a tri-lane 4 way where the light went out, whew was i busy!) with my strobes. got a bunch of thanks and thumbs-up, but a lot of people were looking at me quizically cause i had a nice green "WENDYS" across my shirt had no time to get my reflector jacket and all. people were cutting each other off, swerving around cars, etc before i got there. IT WAS CRAZY!
