100% HID illiterate
first of all. you have 9007 bulbs. you will need that when ordering. many people from here, including me, have ordered from ebay seller HID4U. the kit is $80 shipped, but it only a single xenon. meaning you will lose your brights, but you wont really need then anymore. i know i dont, they are plenty bright as it is. next you will want to decided what color you want. if you want a white, with a slight tint of blue, 6000K is the best. It also offers the best light output. If you want more of a blue light, 8000K is for you. i think you have seen mine, they are 8000K, and i think they are perfect. but it all comes down to what you prefer.

you dont need a kit with a relay. its the guys with the '04+ trucks that have problems with them. i have had mine for almost a year with no problems at all, and i dont have any relay. coobies just bought the same kind and his work just fine too.

im thinking about spending the $90 to get bi-xenon.
wrong. for some reason you guys are forgetting the point of high-beams. they aren't made for "brightness." true that HIDs are WAY brighter than stock, but hi-beams are used to aim the beam higher temporarily to see down long distances. bright or not, ill take halogen highs over HID lows. I live out in the country and miss my high-beams so much. it sucks when i get flashed i cant do chit about it.

im thinking about spending the $90 to get bi-xenon.Mark, believe me you wont need them anymore. you can come drive my truck if you want to see for yourself.
Out here in FL, the high beams helps with long distance deer spotting. When you're driving at night, you gotta be on the lookout for any signs of shiny eyes beside the road.
Granted, I haven't taken a "back road" ride with my just-installed HIDs, but there is a definitive improvement on light output in front of me. But, until I've tried it out, I think what Raptor says makes sense. With highbeams, you're focusing light way ahead of you, not just all in front. But, we'll see...
BTW, if you want most light output, go with 4300k. Plenty white.
