Heck, I remember back when I towed the same boat with my old Toyota Tacoma, and you could really feel it yank the truck around. Now, I have to look back there every now and again, just to make sure the boat is still there ;-)
About the color, Ford calls it Stone Green, but yes, your right, it looks anywhere from dark chocolate brown, to a light gold brown, with tons of gold mettalic. Then, sometimes it looks almost charcoal. But green ? I've heard a few people say they can see a hint of olive in it, but I think that's a stretch.

Thank you MTech.

Peace,
Fish
Yea, I sort of guessed it might be "overkill", but still, it's nice to not have the back end way up high when you're not towing.

How about one of those "adjustable" suspension things (and if I sound like a complete idiot here, it's because I am) :o You seem to be hauling a good bit of weight in your bed and then you add say 300-500# at the hitch when you tow. Air inflatable springs?

Whatever - you've got a pretty truck and I'd hate to see its balance all screwed up with a lifted rear.

Hey Jack....

Actually, I'm just being nitpicky about the rear height / leveling of my truck.... Because to be honest, it sits dead flat without the boat, and seeing as my tongue weight is only about 100 lbs, plus maybe only 100 to 150 lbs of tackle in the bed, the rear only drops about 3/4" to 1". Most guys probably would not even notice the difference... but I do, because I'm looking close for it.

One of those things, ya' know ? :-)

Peace,
Fish

OK, now I understand. I'm surprised it drops at all with the weights you're talking about. Just looking at the distance between the wheels and the hitch on the trailer, I was guessing maybe 200# for a tongue weight. But, I have no experience hauling a boat.

One of the things I like about our 150s though, is the suspension. To me, it feels the way a truck SHOULD feel.

Hands down that last pic is beautiful. I'd say it's worthy of being published for some sort of advertising
