I wish this was possible!

Well I happen to go check out patman03's album the other day, and saw a photoshoped picture of his truck where her took the stock 5-spokes and made them bigger(expanded).

so i decided to do this real quick at work today.

why couldnt ford just have increased the size of these rims by about 2-4"?!?

they look Awesome!

if i had to guess, i would said about a 1"/3" or a 2"/4". whick is more than i will probably do. i think im just going to suck the rear down with a set of GF 2" drop shackles. if it was possible to find those rims in that size, i would make my truck look exactly like the picture!

There are companys that make larger versions of stock wheels, such as 20" Lightning wheels and what not.

Im kind of doubting they would make a larger version of such a stock wheel like that, but it might be worth looking into...

talked with Finish Line wheels, the ones who make all the L and HD replica rims. they said they are not able to up the sizes of stock rims. only if the pattern comes in a 18" or 20" they can make it.

DANG!

at $100/adapter, i think i will just stick with the stockers...$400 plus another $400-$600 for the wheels, equals $1k already, and i still need tires...o well. when i get a decent paying job, and dont have to worry about being an aults yet, i will spring for some new ones.
