Nah, I'm going to CC it later on. And thats not a toolbox, it has my basic "on the road" cleaning supplies, (i.e: window cleaner, Armor All, etc)

Edit: MudTerrain, yes I washed to remove the polish I normally used on it to get it dark, then sanded with 120 then 400 then 800 to smooth, then I used the last bit o' primer I had, then the Krylon Plastic. Put on a total of 3 coats, and next weekend its getting maybe another coat with 1-2 coats of clear. Beds are staying as-is. I like the textured feel to them. Still waiting to do my handles.

Good luck with that. I havent seen a single one on ebay all week. seems like the real ones are getting more and more scarce

Looks good, but i know it wont last, we did my buddies fog light trim on his Dodge Ram, and they are all chipped to hell after only like 3 or 4 months

I have one saved on my Favorites.

Thats foglights though, down close to the road and getting chipped by rocks and stuff. The only thing I have to worry about is sun damage, and my truck has a carport, so all is good.

Update: Took an angle grinder and put a wire wheel on it and sanded down the antenna to its bare metal color. Then used a hella lot of paint thinner to bring a silvery-chrome looking buff out of it. Looks great!

You primed the plastic before putting Krylon on? I thought the purpose of Krylon plastic paint was to apply it directly to the plastic. Will regular primer stand up to being applied to plastic?

The trim looks really good PTM. Mine isn't yet but I'm hoping it will be one day.

Looks pretty good man, but that brake light must be smoked or something.

Looks good....I think white would have looked a little better....

Here is my old 99..best pic I have that shows the windown trim...

Sanded and prepped, Krylon Fusion sprayed right on. I dont even remember if I cleared it or not. It held up great for probably two years then I got rid of the truck. Just waxed it like the rest of the truck and it looked great.
Regular ol window tint on the 3rd brake light....had to replace that two or three times because window tint just doesnt hold up to the elements that great.

Looks good. If down the road it doesnt hold up, just spray it again. No big deal

repainting cant be any worse than having to apply hyperdressing to the way it was stock- every time you wash the truck
