Tails/Tint (pics)

I did the niteshades on my tails and 3rd brake light yesterday.

A special thanks to ELVATO for his writeup which i followed word for word, i think they turned out awesome. I did 2 heavy coats on the tails and 3rd brake light, then 2 coats of clear, then cleaned and polished.

his writeup is here:
https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...ght=niteshades

Also got the front windows tinted 20% to match the backs.

I KNOW ITS DIRTY. i just got back from the ranch (700 mile round trip) and i need to wash the truck badly. Will be doing that today.

Ah, shucks. I got the knowledge from other people's write-ups here as well.

But glad you liked how it turned out. Just hit them up with PlasticX every so often to keep them nice and shiny.

Looks good. The black tails look nice on that color. I vote you black out the white lights on the 3rd BL too though

You could but it would limit nighttime lighing a lot not to mention gives rookie cops a chance to hand you a nice fat ticket. It would look good if you painted them black or got black headlights

I wouldnt use niteshades on headlamps. You could pull the lamps apart and paint the insides black though, there are threads on how to do this...
