Front window tint
Front window tint
Have a 2006 f150 extended cab. I want to tint the front windows to match the back. Does any one know the % and has anyone done this and if so do they have pictures?
*edit not sure why i typed crew i meant extended cab. *

I think i read it somewhere that its 20% matches the best
Welcome
I also have an 06.
I'm running 15% on the front windows...
IMO couldn't be a better match to the factry rears...
Got my tint done at Exclusive Automotive here in Chi Town...
Sure they could tell you which tint company they use!
I'll have pics up soon just found out how to post them today!
Alot of people on here will tell you 20%. I have 15% and I still think it could be darker. In the daytime and the sun is shining on the windows I can see in through the front better than back still. Im pretty sure its because the rear windows come with the tint made into the window where as the front just has the tint layed on with the paper material(or whatever it is).
Pick what you want but id recommend 15%, you can go look at pictures in my gallery to see what it looks like.

the tint shop told me that 18% is factory
so 15% on front matches well w/ the windsheild letting
in so much light
i have 15% on mine
look at pictures in my gallery also

u got any pics wilson? i have 15% on my crewcab and personally i think there too light. i want to switch to 5% up font and maybe 5% over the stock tint or 15% so it equals like 5%.
Their are laws of how dark you can go on the front some states don't aloow any which is why they don't do it at the factory, so you might want to chack your stat laws. If you take it to a shop you can have them match for color and most will be able to tell you the laws.
